Description
The cape buffalo (Syncerus caffer-Latin name) is considered to be one the of most dangerous of the big five. On average, the have a 17year lifespan, with females buffalo’s going up to 700kg, while the the male buffalo can reach up to 1000kg. Their habitation mostly lies in grasslands and open woodlands and while they are generally most relaxed when they are in their herds, single bulls or smaller herds are rather unpredictable.
